The sacco like setup gives more leverage since instead of selling bags as individuals they sell in tons and tons of produce making them sell at a higher price than they would normally get from middle men.Due to success of some of such groups the farmers are able to secure loans to pay school fees and cater for their other financial;a needs without much hustle.
